Energy claims should be reproducible. Here is the evidence standard behind every guide and calculator.
Primary sources first
We start with legislation, government publications, network documents and product conformity records. Industry commentary adds context but does not replace the source.
Models are labelled as models
Calculator outputs are estimates. We publish the variables, use conservative defaults and avoid treating one household as typical.
Testing claims need testing
Our launch research is desk-based and modelled. We will only publish hands-on claims after documenting the product, method, dates and measurements.
Corrections stay visible
