It does not power one socket
Once connected correctly, generation offsets demand across the home’s electrical installation. It is not reserved for the appliance beside it.
It stops during a power cut
A normal grid-tied microinverter must shut down when the grid fails. This anti-islanding behaviour protects people working on the network.
Small systems reward daytime use
Washing, dishwashing and hot-water diversion during bright hours can raise self-consumption. Do not create unsafe loads merely to chase a percentage.
